HOPEWELL JUNCTION, N.Y – Hopewell Junction resident Catherine Perrotta DiAndrea died Thursday, Nov. 26 at the Wingate in Beacon. She was 98.
Born June 4, 1917, in the Bronx, DiAndrea was the daughter of the late Biaggio and Filomena (Iazetti) Delle Cave.
She is survived by her daughters, Grace “Dolly" Geremino of West Palm Beach, Fla.; Phyllis O’Hare and her husband Thomas of Hopewell Junction; her grandchildren and their spouses, Darlene and Christopher Sheeran; Nicholas and Linda Geremino; Dr. Michael and Camille Geremino; Catherine and John D’Avanzo; Jennifer and Michael Camera; Michelle and Jamie Hogan; Thomas and Meredith O’Hare; and her great-grandchildren, Stephanie, Katherine, Christopher, Michael, Rachel, Marc, Alyssa, Jessica, Vincent, John, Bridget, Grace, James, Allyson, and Abigail.
She was predeceased by her husband, Louis Perrotta, in 1970 and her son-in-law, Michael Geremino.
Calling hours will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday at the McHoul Funeral Home Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
